Here we will tell the story of the beginnings of our church and how we became what we are today.
Missionaries For Christ was organized on Friday January 25, 2002 in the lining room of Sis. Elaine Jackson home. With just a few members this congregation was named 1st New Testament M.B.C. After a few months the holy spirit spoke to Pastor Cummins concerning the naming of the Church and the name was changed to Missionaries For Christ Baptist Church. The church has seen ups & downs we have moved from place to place but In March of 2006 we moved into our first place that we can call our Home (1712 W. 79th Street). Although a very young church, God has given the vision to Pastor Cummins, our goal Isn't to become the greatest church but the church that does the will of God.
